Who we are

La Voce Filipiniana is an online media organization led by students from De La Salle University – Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) in Cavite, Philippines.

 

Our publication embodies the definition of our name: “La Voce,” a direct Italian translation for ‘The Voice’, and “Filipiniana”, meaning a publication that tackles any Philippine-related stories.

 

We, La Voce Filipiniana, provide a channel for Filipino stories to be heard and to uplift and inspire in the midst of trying times.

Our mission

La Voce Filipiniana is a media organization that dedicates to tell human interest stories in faith and service, and leading change, further heralding the Filipino stories to the global audience.

Our vision

La Voce Filipiniana strives to promote inspiration and eunoia (beautiful thinking) through the Filipino stories of faith, spirituality, and values for the global audience in an accurate, fair, and impartial manner.

Project Description

La Voce Filipiniana is an online media organization under the project “Good Makes Headlines” spearheaded jointly by the Dicastery for Communication and Foundation Gravissimum Educationis, empowered by the Congregation for Catholic Education.

According to the said jointly led organizations, this project pursues the following objectives:

  • To understand, explore, and promote the universality of the Church

  • To upgrade the network of Catholic universities

  • To expand the educational offer of Catholic Universities

  • To educate students

  • To promote responsible communication

  • To integrate into the communications of the Holy See

 

La Voce Filipiniana is led by students from Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from De La Salle University – Dasmariñas. The organization functions through its multimedia platforms such as:
